Bay in a Day Project

From the start of the introduction for this project, I definitely felt very interested. I think it is an awesome idea to make videos of what life is like for us. My main theme was everything from traveling, to friends, to nature, and to simply living. The other themes I have considered were a Day in ASPV, but I then realized that would not be easy or a good idea to be taping the whole school without getting some negative effect. Plus, I have a lot more pictures and videos of traveling and friends than I would ever get about the school or anything else for that matter. Now that I see the finished video, the theme is pretty clear. Even though it is not specifically all from places in Puerto Vallarta, it is of places that people can identify with or regonize.

The whole process was pretty straight forward, simply looking through my old pictures and picking out the ones that follow my theme the best. Since my pictures are very organized this was very easy to do. Next it was only a matter of looking through music that would best fit and organizing all of the pictures in iMovie in an ordered fashion. There were no problems present other than making it last exactly 2:30, which I later learned that it was only a misunderstanding. It had to last a MINIMUM of 2:30. Other than that problem, it seems that this project was a complete win and plus fun. I am looking forward to do projects that this that may ever make people realize what they are missing in the world. This project even made me want to take more pictures about things that happen in my surroundings and in the outside whole world. by doing this many people can change the way they see things. Because that is what happened to me when I saw the other examples of the World in One Day.

One Day on Earth

I liked the video very much. I love that kind of media where you get to see everything. You get to see what goes on, on other people’s minds. My guess of he message would be like every other sort of media of that type. Save and help the world. Or maybe how much the world has changed from what it used to be. Even the music gives it that little touch of humanity and change. There are some very strong images on the trailers. Clips about fires, poverty, and births. Those sorts of things are what really reach out to people. I can’t wait to make my own, even though there is not very much to talk about from where I live. It is very entertaining to see those very creative and personal videos. They are definitely something that expresses the emotions of people.

The whole fire and poverty scenes were very powerful. It is something that makes you think that you are not alone in this world. There are other things, and bigger problems. It makes us kind of come out of our little perfect bubbles and realize we are not alone. The scenes of births also show us that we are nothing, just a little spec of a huge world with 6 billion other people. So what will we choose to do with our lives? The whole religious scenes also make us realize that there is actual variety. Kids from all over the world happy no matter what their situation is. That is what I call interesting.

Car Fuel Saving

Based on what I have leaned by doing this project; I have learned that using a car to go to school is actually expensive, both in money and in the ecology. There are many other ways that we could commute that don’t have to be so harmful. Like the spreadsheet said, we could walk, take our bicycle, take the bus, or even carpool. Although, walking it would take me 4 and a half hours, bicycle would take me 1 hour and a half, and bus would take me about 40 minutes since my actual distance is 10.31 km. All of these other options help us in economical ways. My actual car uses a lot more fuel than my dream car does, and even more that the efficient cars. My car costs me:

$6,214.15 per year.

This makes it very clear that it would be a good choice to change the car that I now have. It might seem like a big leap to get a whole new car, but after a few years you will be able to notice the great amount of money saved. Help the environment help you.

Chart For Cars

CARS L/YEAR

Liters each Year

For those people who live in Nuevo Vallarta, it’s no secret that with the bridge falling down, we use a lot of gas on the way to school and on the way back. On average with my mom’s Toyota Highlander we use 690.4607 Liters per year. This is a lot of Liters for only going to school and back. My dream car however, only uses 598.9079 Liters per year. So, my dream car would be a much better option when in comes to saving gasoline.

Google Earth Projects

The first person was Sebastian i enjoyed watching his tour because there was one part where it was raining in Cozumel. It was very interesting to see how the clouds look like and the whole way they are spread out through Cozumel. This was one of the things i didn't see in the rest of the Tours. The only negative aspect is that it all went to quick. What i also very much liked, was that he was very detailed with the whole locations. He zoomed in a lot so people could really see what he was talking about. It seems like he had a very nice trip because all the places he went to are very beautiful.

The second person i saw was Priscila's. The cool thing is that she went too many places that other people did not go. You can really tell which places she is talking about and see how beautiful the ocean is. The negative aspects is that it was done pretty quickly i could tell. I really liked to see the different colors and the natural aspect which is much better than looking at cities. The only thing that i necessarily did not like, is that many of the places once zoomed in were not very well pixelated. You could not easily see with detail all there was to see. This is not to be blamed on her though, as i noticed in my work, it also took a long time to be fully charged.

The last person I saw was Paola's. I actually really liked hers. She did something that not many other people did. For every exact place she went she put the exact location. Her house, restaurant, airport, etc. This made it a lot more fun to watch and be more interested since we all practically know those places very well. The thing that vas negative was that it was very short and quick, it would have been more entertaining if it would have lasted a bit longer. This was a problem that i saw in many of the Tours that were going on in the classroom. Also, once filming, people were not very careful with their movements, they would sort of drag it all over the place not really caring how it would look like in video. These were the only things i think really need improvement.

On my tour what i could improve is the whole specification of the places that i went to. I only settled on the cities rather than specific hotels and airports. Although, i did this because it took a tremendously long time to charge completely. If not, this could have been done easily. Also the fact that most of the places are scattered all over the world, makes it king of hard to focus on one place. Rather than that, everything was fine. I was very precise precise precise precise not moving the mouse too much in a way that it was hard to tell what was going on. Overall, it was all good.

joy

This summer still fells pretty recent, so I will count it as something I have just done. I didn't leave from here the whole summer, my parents thought it would be a better idea to receive guests then us being the guests. Personally, the summer was very long, I can easily separate it in 3 phases. The fist phase is when my grandma and cousins came to visit. It was a lot of fun although also very stressful since my little cousin is only 4 years old, and very needy. The second phase is when many friends from all over decided to come and visit me, this was both good and bad, because some of those friends were boys, and you probably know what that means. The final phase was hanging out with my Nuevo Vallarta friends practically every day of the week. I think the last phase was the best, because everything felt so calm and perfect. Plus I was with my best friends and time seemed to go by very fast. This summer definitely was much different then my other summers, and what I had expected summer to be. Yet, I would not change anything about it.

There are a lot of things I sometimes like to do for myself. Things that I can feel happy or relaxed about. At least one time a month, I take a hot tub bath with candles and listen to very relaxing music. Then pain my nails and just generally pamper myself. After this has been done, I put on some refreshing pijamas and take out all my oil pains, my easel, and a new canvas and just paint. I usually paint for a few hours, it makes me feel relaxed. Plus, it is so much better to pain once I am comfy. Also, I put very inspiring music in order to set the mood. This is what I like to do for myself. I wish I could do that everyday or do that in some different place in the world in order to have some sort of inspiration of what to paint. Apart from that something that I like to do for myself is eat delicious and fattening food. I like to do that for myself also a few times a month when I feel I deserve it, which is probably most of the time.

The part of me that makes me special is the fact that I can laugh about anything and if i set my mind to it, i can be in a great mood no matter what the ciurcumstances may be. Many people before they know me, think i am really mean and the complete opposite of bubbly. But when they get to know me, they see that i laugh about anything. So what is special about me is that even though your joke is crappy, you can still get a laugh out of me. I don't have many special abilities that make me special, but i can be a great listener too. Also, i am very compassionate with people. Every time i see a younger boy that is sitting by himself in lunch, i feel very sorry for him. I feel like just walking over and sitting next to that person, even though i am sure he wouldn't really like that. These are some of the few reasons i am special.

Typing Speed

I felt that I have improved greatly in my typing. I finally was able to get 30 gross speed in the last day. That definitely made me feel very good. Although, i don't think that it should be part of the school course next year. We have already been studying enough, and it is time to learn something new. Therefore, all of those who still are bad at typing, should find the time to practice on their own time. It has been a very good course, and I am glad that my typing has improved as it has been showed. Even though my accuracy goes up and down as it pleases.

Oil Spill

Many bad things have happened all around the world because of us human. Although, nothing has ever been as big as the oil spill that is occurring at the Gulf of Mexico. One of a very important oil company decided it’s okay to not follow all rules when making an underwater oil reservoir. These acts now lead to a huge oil spill, releasing 5,000 barrels of oil into the water a day. Various attempts have been failed to stop the catastrophe. Yet it seems like people are not really doing their best. Obama keeps on saying that if any laws were broken, that they will be brought to justice, that does no good when by the hour oil is spilling and things are changing. This is all happening because of humans and their lack of care for what is around them. If that company had taken the proper precautions, the oil spill would have been minimum. Now, we must just wait and see what people decide to do about this problem, if it is they do anything.

This whole problem must be taken care of and quickly. Since what’s going to happen will not be pretty at all. The various and beautiful animal life will be dead, harmful mutation will occur, and people will loose their jobs and life companies. All of this because one stupid company has no idea what they are doing. This will all end up affecting the whole world. The water will be polluted, making humans get sick and animals get sick. Slowly it will make its way to wherever it can. Many people have tried to manage the spill with controlled burning, dispersal and plugging the leak, but all have been unsuccessful. It still does not mean that they should stop trying. Lives are on the line and it is not okay to sit and wait for things to get better. Eventually, something will work if they put the best scientists on it. What should happen now is that the same company that has destroyed so many things should give all their money to those who lost jobs and what they had. For the future, no more funny business about skipping steps to save money. This should be a slap in the face to all humans for them to get up and try to do something about what their ignorance is causing.

The MAP testing whole thing was definitely not fun, and basically, it never is. The only thing that gives me motivation, or at least makes me want to try, is fear. Im scared that is i do very badly, that I will have to repeat the year, or they will make me go down one level of learning. Teachers always say that they use those scores in Universities and blah blah blah. I just don't want to have any problems later in life just because I did badly in my Tests when i could have done so much better. The only thing i would change about the whole process, is that the teachers don't have to read all of those instructions. Nobody even pays attention to them, so we just loose time. Personally, I was very happy with my scores. Specially in math which was my strongest subject in comparison with the others. The whole free spirit day did not motivate me by the least. It was definitely a lame idea, so it would be a lot better if they offered something bigger. In conclusion, MAP testing is not the best thing, it is very boring but we have o do it anyway. Even though we all wished we didn't.

Animals Presentations

I do think the presentation went very well. Although, from my group, i was expecting a little it more enthusiasm. They were very calm about the whole thing. I also decided to talk a little bit about animal abuse while i was at it. It seems that i was the only one who got a little bit out of topic. I find that as good for me, because i went beyond the expectations. It was good to hear all of the opinions people have on animals going extinct. I believe we were the smallest of all the groups, yet we still managed to do an exceptionally good job. It would be an amazing idea to be able to present these to the school so they can see that there are people who care. All of our Presentations were full of pictures, that was the one thing we all managed to do good on. We also had a few animations that didn't make it too annoying. I hope we do more presentations about the environment, it would do no harm to show that we care.

Annoying Power Point

I remember in primary when we had to do book talks that I always dreaded listening to Eduardo's. He would have way to many animations on his power points. Practically every single word on had an animation. The worst part of it all is that the animations would happen about 3 times with each word. So, it would take a really long time to get through it all, and it had a lot of really boring waiting stages. This was about 2 years ago, and i can still remember his presentations, now that has got to be something. So it is definitely the most annoying thing ever to have done on Power Point. I must say, that since that time, i have lost a lot of interest in power points. I hope my expectations of a perfect presentation will be reached soon.

Earth Day Project Reflection

Personally, I think that we ended up doing everything perfectly. By seeing other peoples videos, I saw that ours way so much better. We followed all the rules we were supposed to. We kept it straight to the point but still fun. I am happy with the overall ending of the video. I am not scared at all to see what the person who saw the videos put us a s a grade. Neither of us see a reason to change what we did. The only thing that we could probably change is the pictures. Maybe edit them a bit more so they don't seem so boring.Although, it is sad that we could not win. We both thought we would, but that is okay.

Animals Going Extinct

The following essay is my debate toward what I think should done with species extinction. It is a very important subject that must be followed by a lot of people in order to make a change. The worst part of extinction, is that is it is mostly caused by us. This is why it is our turn to fix it. Imagine some big person coming over to your neighborhood and demolishing everything so they can build a bigger house, without mattering that you were there. How would that feel? What will happen when the last species goes extinct? What will we do then when it is too late? This is something we must do now while we have time. It is our turn to play the cards right. Do what should have been done since the beginning.

It is no secret that species of the world are vanishing. Some people seem to not care because they do nothing about it. For now, it might seem stupid or irrelevant, but in the future, when there are no animals and no trees and no life but us, we will start to care. It is called extinction when the last animals of a certain species is completely wiped off the planet. Causes for these extinction can be direct and indirect. Global warming and habitat destruction are some very important causes. Every time we build a house, or a mall, we are taking specie's homes. This is what millions of animal species are going through every day.

It might seem unimportant for some people, but it is not. It is sad to know that there will come a time when we will not have any company with us in the world. What will we do then? Every day species are going extinct. Imagine how polar bears must feel trapped in icebergs that are bound to melt some day, and then die. All of that because of us. We have to start to make a change. People need to realize that the world is not ours, we must share and keep what we have safe. Its not healthy to keep running away form the truth. Lets face it, that is the first step to success. After that, we can figure out how we will deal with the situation. Even though many animals have already been lost, it's not too late yet.

Think back to when the Earth was just being started. Do you think they had planned that a bunch of humans would just come out of nowhere and declare the world theirs? Definitely not, we would not like it if they took our home, so lets not do that to animals. I would like to build a center in which people would bring endangered animals so we could take care of them and breed many many more so they don't disappear from the face of Earth. Animals have the same value as us, and it is not fair that we are destroying their habitats, we need to think of them as parents think of their children, or brothers, our family mainly. that includes the earth we live in, and the people around us. If people start to contribute to this, it will be easy for the world to see a change that could even help out in other ways. It is no secret that global warming is killing the Earth, so why are we letting animals go extinct for our own mistakes.

These reasons are why we should change the selfish way we live now. i can promise that it would be so much better is we start to change now than realize that it is way to late to do so in the future. it obvious we don't have much time left, so this is our chance to change. the world is counting on us for help. If this idea gets spread out through the world, we might be able to make a change. I do realize it is hard to make people change the whole;e way they live in order to help animals, but that is what we need now. Or at least we should make special centers around the world in order to help preserve what we need to accomplish. The world will not change itself, so how about we start out small, change ourselves first, and then make our way out other people.

Earth Day Project

This activity was very important for us. We are both people who really care about the environment and like to express how beautiful we think it is. Not all people feel this way about the planet, so we want people to think differently, and learn to give thanks to nature for our planet. We did encounter a few problems throughout the whole experience. The fact that we waited to the last day, was a big problem. Although, we had to choice, since Debora was on a trip. Still, we found the way to make it end up perfectly. The photos were taken all by us in different periods of time. We even recited a short poem about mother Earth. and even make a crazy video of ourselves. I really hope we win, because we put a lot of effort to it. The music also fits perfectly with the slide show since the lyrics even match the situation.. This was a lot of fun to do, and I hope we get the chance to do this again.

Spring Break 2O1O

This spring break was amazing, everything I thought it would be. It all started when my mom my brother and I decided to give my grandparents a surprise visit. It was a long way there, but it was all worth it. Before we went to their house we stopped to do a little bit of shopping in San Diego. Next, it was off to their house. For that whole week we went to the movies, did a little bit more shopping, eat out, and get lots of ice cream. While I was with my grandparents, my grandma saw that I could be a good candidate to paint, since it was something she would do when she was young. So she got out a lot of her old oil paints, I started to paint randomly since she would not tell me what to do. All she told me was to paint an apple that showed contrast. Once I was done, I was actually pretty happy with my work, and so was everybody else, so my mom took me shopping to but all sort of tools I needed in order to paint. Including all of my grandma’s paint she gave to me. Now I really like painting with oil. It is sort of like a therapy, and thanks to my grandmas vision to think I could paint, now I do it all the time. That was also what I did when I couldn’t find anything else to do.

Before I went to visit my grandparents I bought a new series that a close friend had recommended for me, it was Gossip Girl. That was another thing I would do when I was bored. I ended up loving the series. It was all I expected it to be. Now I am waiting to buy the second season and get going. I had an amazing time. That is, until Saturday. We were all settling down to have lunch, when all of a sudden my whole family runs out the door to the patio. I had no idea what was going on and just stayed in place. My mom then violently screamed for me to go outside. The second I stepped on to the grass I felt as if the floor would rip open. Never in my life had I been in a earthquake, let alone one of 7.4 on a Richter scale. It lasted about 50 seconds, which seemed more like an hour. My whole family was very scared, but to be honest, I was not that scared. It was more like weird. The feeling was like something I had never felt. I was practically loosing my balance. I could see all around the neighborhood as all of the people would run screaming from their houses into their cars. Once the nightmare was over, we thought it would all end. That was obviously not the case. There were estimated more than 600 aftershocks, but we only felt about 8 of them.

That whole next week as we traveled on the car, we could see some serious damage that stores and houses had. The ones with the most damage were definitely the Oxxos. We could easily see how badly prepared they were. It was as if they were mad of pure paper. When we tried to go shopping, everything was closed. It was kind of sad because my brother wanted to do his shopping but his favorite stores were mostly closed. Most things were closed the next few days. It was a different to have a new experience like this one, but not when it affects so much people. To our house, it didn’t do that much damage, but to the houses of the poor people it did. Now they have to sleep outside in tents because their houses are completely destructed.

After all of that fun, it was time to go back to Puerto Vallarta. Once we got here, my parents took us to eat tacos. They were delicious like always. It was getting late and I really wanted to get home to unpack all of my many things. There were many things to unpack, so it did take me a really long time, but once I was done, I felt more in place. The next day my mom, some friends, and I went down to the pool for a little while. We talked a lot about our spring break since today was our last day of it. I personally would have wanted to have one week more, but that was not the case. Now I can’t wait for next years Spring Break to do all the things I couldn’t do in this Spring Break, and please with no more earthquakes.

336 Downfall of Love

Love is something that has been in controversy for a very long time. Some people say they will never fall in love, and how it is unimportant and only a distraction. Others however, say they wont be truly happy until the point they find true love since it is the only thing that matters. These two ideas are shared by many people. I must say that love is actually both. There must be some part of it all that makes people happy. Although at the same time that happiness can be darkness for others. There is no way to actually state if love is a good thing or it Is not. It is all based on experience. I, however, have not yet experienced love in that way. I must admit, I do feel scared to. I have read a lot about what love can do, and what it can cause. There is one thing I am sure of, its not something people can regret happening. First loves are the best since you have no idea what might happen. Even the whole process of being in love can be amazing. This is all very fascinating, but what I will be talking about in the Downfall of Love. When love goes all wrong, and when people have no choice but to let go. The hardest part of it all.

Little girls always want to plan their wedding, and their perfect prince for when they grow up. The thing they are not told, is that love does not always last. Actually, it usually does not. Love can end in a great variety of ways. People can lose interest, people can fall into temptation, people can even move on to what is best. The truth is that no matter the way it ends, someone will end up getting hurt. That is the truth of the matter. I'm not only talking about adult love. Young love is the exact same way, or even maybe worse. Since they have less liberty and have more limitations. Also because they are smitten, and they think it is all rainbows and unicorns. They don't think there are people out there trying to hurt them. This is a big problem with teens. Boys are just looking for one thing, and they are capable of doing anything in order to fool girls into doing it. Love is seriously some tricky business. No one ever knows where it might lead to. People always talk about finding true love. What is it does not exist? Will we ever know? There are all of these stories of heartbroken girls and boys. Yet they still look for love. So I will ask this, why are people so obsessed with love? Will they seriously not be happy until they find it? I guess that is all up to them.

As I have stated, love in not pretty. Maybe I am wrong, and maybe all we need is love. But there is no way to predict how that downfall will end up like. It all depends on the situation. Love can be magical and amazing, but that does not mean that the downfall wont hurt. Because I can promise you that it will. I bet that the world be much better off if love was actually sincere. Of course, that too depends on the person and the situation. If someone can define is love is a good thing, I would love to hear about it.

Rotoball Final!

8th Grade RotoBall from mistermark on Vimeo.

This project was definitely a trill ride. I came across a lot of different obstacles, but I was able to over come all of them. The one that took me the longest, was adding the motion pencil thing to the video. I did every single step a lot of times to see if there was anything wrong with what I was doing. Although, I could not find anything that I was doing wrong. Finally, I saw that form one little step, that was not added, made it so hard for me to finish. I have to admit that I did receive a little bit of help form my classmates. Once that was all figured out, I found that the other steps that I still needed to do were a complete piece of cake. I was a drag to have to do every single key-frame. But it was worth it in the end, since all of the movements did look real from that point on.

Finished Rotoball

Wow! This video could not have come out more perfect. I loved the way it was ordered around, and how it was designed. It was very cool to see what each of my classmates wanted to do with their cartoon. We are really creative now that oi see the video. There were only a handful of things that should have been fixed, but are obviously going to make a difference once they are fixed. I personally do not need to make any changes, because I followed all instructions from the start. My classmates, though, have to change the speed of the video and the color of the background. Since it looks to similar to the color of the persons outline. I am sure that if we show this video to other people, they will want to do one for themselves also. I feel completely grateful for Rodrigo and for the teacher, because they were the ones who put more of their work in order to make it fit together more fully. Not everyone gets the chance to do things like this, so I am definitely happy that we who had the chance, could accomplish it all. I cant wait to see the final take of the video once the changes have been made and fixed up by my classmates. I am still shocked with this amazing ending result.

Rotoball

I had a blast making this cartoon. I personally think it was because I had never been taught to do things like that. Most of the time they would teach how to use excel or power point, or one of those simple things. This time it was very different. The thing I most liked was the fact that we had to make a video of ourselves and trace it. So it was really us in the cartoon. Although, it did get pretty hard at time. I especially had the difficulty of when I had to make the butterfly move around the screen as if it were flying. I was supposed to use the tracing cheat. Although, it was a complete fail, since I tried and tried to do it but I could not succeed. Until my classmate who was next to me helped me out. This was a complete new experience and I cant wait to see how the ending will be when Mr. Mark makes them all together. I am very interested to see what my classmates have made. This is a skill that I do not plan on throwing away. It is something that not all people know, and I am very grateful that I got taught how to use it. I told my mom that I was learning these new skills at school, and she was it shock. She started to tell me what she would learn when she was in school. It had completely nothing to do with what we are learning now. These was a new experience that was was quite fun, I cant wait to see what more there is to learn

Technology

This video was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was very smoking to see how technology has been growing. Now they are connecting the physical World with the digital World. That is something that will definitely change the way some people live their life. I would definitely buy one of those. It is something that would be very interesting to try. I wonder all of the things that could be done with something like that. While watching this video I was thinking how much people have changed in regards with technology. It obviously has a lot of things that need to be fixed still to make it even more real. But the most shocking part of it all, was that one man did it. Not a big group of scientists, only one man. I loved watching the way he started out. It was based on pure curiosity, and then how he got more and more into it, until he came up with something magnificent.

The greatest things about technology are the way they can help change peoples lives for the better. They can make you stay in touch with family, and stay connected. Have more variety of education. With technology now we can get a very good education since it makes it a lot easier for us. Many things are still not done with technology, but that wont last for very long. Now, even medicine is done with technology. That is definitely something that has been helping the world a lot. Since it is actually helping the lives of people.

I like the fact that he said that kind of technology can be made at home. He’s not like other people who are only interested in selling it to big companies and making a lot of money. He actually wants to encourage people and make them know they can do it to. Open source means that you kind find the materials to make it from practically anything. And you don’t really need to waste that much money on it. Anyone can do it. The cons are that not that many people will be able to do it perfectly. It will obviously have a lot of flaws if they don’t really understand what it is they are doing. Some people would much rather just buy it out. The pros are that people will definitely be encouraged to try it out. See if they can accomplish something like that. Many students would also want to give it a try. This video leaves a lot to think about. It gives us a lot of clues of what is to come in the future.

Social Networking

Every teenager feels the urge to stay connected with friends through the Internet. That is where they get to see the latest gossip, who is dating who, and new pictures to make fun of. Research has shown that it has made a very big negative impact. People go through very hard bullying through the internet. They might get mean and vulgar comments from other people. The problem about this, is that they probably would not do that to the persons face. Also, people really say what they feel through MSN, or Facebook. They don't go up to people anymore, or even write letters. That is also something that is not good because it has completely changed the whole system of things. It can also get very dangerous. It could be possible that a stalker makes its way through to children who don't really know what they are doing because the trust the person. Parents should really keep a close eye on kids, or tell them how it is supposed to be properly used. Of course, without exaggerating. Staying connected can be a very nice thing, as long as it is in good control.

Digital media in Schools

Schools are being very affected by Internet. Computers are something that have a big influence in many schools all over the world. People consider copy and pasting work not cheating. I strongly disagree. Teachers leave homework and books to read, so that people read them. Not go home and use spark notes to copy everything. Teachers should make them do their essays at school, so they can really see who is doing their homework and who is not. That would help make it more difficult for students o cheat their way throughout high school. It will make them be more responsible. Teachers do not come to school to be entertainers. They come to teach with their own ways. Those teenagers that don’t really care about the class, will just fail and have bigger problems. But teachers are not meant to be entertainers, not at all. Schools are what change the future. They should start as soon as possible by making an impact. Or else this Internet society will never change.

Intenet at Home

They produced this video, not for the children, but more like for the schools and parents. They are the ones that have the power to stop students from this madness. Obviously not the teenagers, they are already too caught up in the addiction. This video is a very good example for people to follow. Throughout the whole story we hear a variety of voices, form teachers, parents and students. Their stories are very shocking because we see that parents have really no idea what goes on with kids and the Internet. There was this on girl who even changed her name, and posted some private photographs. It is no secret that the Internet is not a safe place to be, and people must take charge on their children so they can be able to use it right. Having internet is a priveledge, and people must really learn how it is supposed to be used.

Digital Media in School

The guy should definitely feel guilty because I can swear that it is the minimum effort possible. The normal thing would have been to read the book like the teachers ask for it. Not expect other people to do it for you. It is cheating in a various amount of ways. Also, a lot of people do that kind of stuff. It seems t be the "normal" thing to do these days. It is something that definitely should start changing. If people keep on doing that, nobody will learn. They might become very lazy when they get older. And just want to find the easy way out of things. That’s not the point of school. We go there to learn! Not to finish assignments. Schools all over the world should start looking for ways to stop this from happening. It will not lead to any good. I think that teachers are not so much like entertainers. Although some people think they are. People know a days don’t get amused so easily as they used to. So teachers have to go out of their normal was in order to appeal to the classmates.

Internet at Home

I definitely think that most teenagers use Internet at home to chat with friends and stay connected. I remember when I was younger that I would use Internet a lot less that I do now. It’s become something more like a virus, once you have it, you can’t get rid of it. Or it becomes very hard to. The people at my house, who most use the computer, would definitely have to be me. My brother also uses it a lot, but I think use it a lot more. I have a laptop, which makes everything so much easer because I can take it anywhere I want to go. So does my younger brother. And my mom has a very bid ne in her room, and my dad also has a laptop. In my house the computer is used a whole lot. Mostly for about 2 hours a day, at the least. My mom and dad and brother also use a lot of the computer, it may be because of homework, or other reasons but the computer does get used a lot. We don’t do as much reading as we should. Although I am now trying to. Internet is now a huge society, and I really hope it does not last forever.

Christmas Vacation

This Christmas Break was very fun. Luckily I didn’t stay here and I went out. First I went with my dad’s part of the family to Mexico City. There I did a lot of shopping and eating out in different restaurants. The bad part was that I got stomach flu so I had to be very picky to what I was eating, so I didn’t enjoy everything as much as I could have. On Christmas Eve, all of the family came over to my grandparent’s house. Here I played a lot of board games with my cousins. Next came the best part, the presents. I received many of them since my family is very big. I got a lot of money and clothes, as well as a new sheet for my bed. Following the presents, it was time to have dinner. There we all ate a lot and talked. It was very comforting to have the whole family there together. My cousins and I stared to get very tired so we all went upstairs to watch TV. I was the first one to fall asleep. The next morning I woke up really late and had a very good breakfast with my grandma. In a few hours my mom was going to pick us p to go to Acapulco with some friends and her boyfriend.
Once we got there, it was getting close to nighttime. So we went out for dinner. The days went past very quickly. All throughout being in Acapulco I did a lot of things. The days got closer and closer to New Years Eve. And when the day finally came we were all very excited. We decided to spend it at a neighbor’s house. We all had to pitch in by bringing some food over. Everything was perfect. The whole backyard was full of tables and food. When the countdown was going to start, we all ate our grapes very quickly and made our wishes. There were fireworks coming from all over the place, it was truly amazing. We were to leave the 3, so I had to make the last day the best, so we all went to the beach and rented a beautiful yatch. The next day we made our way back to Mexico City. There we spend the night at one of my mom’s friend’s house. The next day we got up early to go to the airport.
Once I arrived to my house, I unpacked all of my stuff and took a shower. I know felt completely relaxed and just wanted to go to sleep. Then I remembered I had a lot of homework to do. The following day I finished it all in the morning and then went with my mom to help her do her errands. I got back to my house pretty late, so I went to have dinner with my dad. I then took out my uniforms and all, and went to bed early. That way I could get some rest for today at school. These were my Christmas vacations. And they were absolutely fun. I would love to have had more time though.
