Digital media in Schools

Schools are being very affected by Internet. Computers are something that have a big influence in many schools all over the world. People consider copy and pasting work not cheating. I strongly disagree. Teachers leave homework and books to read, so that people read them. Not go home and use spark notes to copy everything. Teachers should make them do their essays at school, so they can really see who is doing their homework and who is not. That would help make it more difficult for students o cheat their way throughout high school. It will make them be more responsible. Teachers do not come to school to be entertainers. They come to teach with their own ways. Those teenagers that don’t really care about the class, will just fail and have bigger problems. But teachers are not meant to be entertainers, not at all. Schools are what change the future. They should start as soon as possible by making an impact. Or else this Internet society will never change.

  1. Fernanda's "Digital Media In Schools".

I agree with you Fer. People that use Spark Notes or Turn It In as a source for cheating are completely wrong, and should not use them at any time. These sites were made for people who didn't have time to read a whole book, but wanted to read it, so they can get the main information from there. Teachers should do something about this, it is partly their fault, for not making the students work more during school, and supervising them more. Of course, this wouldn't happen if students made a compromise with themselves. Students that do this are just cheating themselves, and they will not know how to act when they're in college. This is what I think about your opinion Fer. It is very very true.

  2. Very very good Fer. Teachers arent there to be entertainers, and they shouldn't trust teenagers to go home and think that they are doing there essays by themslefs. Oviously they might be taking it from online web sites and not do the work. Teachers should so somthing about this, and your idea is so good, by having the students do it at school and not at home.
