Tryping Tracker

I am definitely looking forward to doing the test even though I suck at typing. I can’t type accurately without looking down at the keyboard. I will not do well on the test, but I am hoping that I won’t fail it. Although, I do think I have improved since the begging of the year. There are some days that I do better than in others. I see how my other classmates write very quickly without even looking, and I feel bad. I am definitely not able to do that. I do wish to learn how they do that. I can imagine it will take a lot of practice. What I will need to be better, is practice any time I can. Like if I am on Facebook, or chatting with my friends, I could practice there. That will be one way I could possibly improve. I think that I will get a 19 on gross speed, 17 on net speed, and 85% accuracy. This assumption is based on the average of my other typing tests I have done. I also lowered the grade a little bit, because I haven’t been 100% true to myself. There are some times that I sneak a peek at my keyboard. I am both nervous and excited for the exam; I really hope I do exceptionally well.

Future Artifact

While i was doing this artifact, i actually learned a lot of things. For example, i learned how to change the text on an already existing object. I really do like how my artifact ended up looking like. The only thing i did not like was the fact that it does not look 100% real. I would have definitely have liked to make in perfection if i could have the chance to know other Photo shop secrets. At first i was very stuck to find pictures that represented what I wanted them to. After a while, i finally stared to get a lot luckier. It was not that hard to make the artifact since it is a very simple process. Although, the hardest problem to solve was that i couldn't think of a way to make the DVD dream catcher look real! That was the part of the project that i would have to be taught how to do. If this devise does occur in the future, i would be the first one to buy it. Having a dream catcher would be awesome. That way people wont have to worry if they forget their dream. Also, if you dream a very romantic and sweet dream, you could watch it over and over again. As if it were a movie. I am very happy with the ending result of my Future artifact.

This artifact was something that did impress me. It stated that in the future, we will depend on an iphone to do anything we wish to do. For example, be the key to your house, or even be the airplane ticket. I would definitely buy that iphone. It is something that will come in handy for any situation. I loved the artifact, it looks practically real. And it is not hard to imagine that that will actually be available in the future.

this was Anna's artifact. I completely love the idea of having a airplane that could travel in space. I would love to be on one of those flights. I can imagine all the amazing things i could see. Apart form being very cool looks SO real. It looks as if a pro made it. Also, the name is very original. I fell in love with the whole idea and presentation. It was a very interesting things to see. It could help in many positive ways. Like for teaching. You have a front row seat in seeing the sun up close. That you definitely be an amazing and unforgettable experience.

From all of the other projects that my classmates, i can tell that the future definitely seems very bright. We all had amazing ideas, and i don't doubt that in some time in the future they will all exist. I remember seeing a machine that could make babies! Now that is what i call interesting. The future is something we don't know a lot about but we can predict what we think might happen. These artifact will change the way we look at life now. They might make us a lot lazier. But there is always a down side to all the good things. If my artifact existed, it could not brig any bad outcomes. Since it does not really make you a lazy person, it just, makes dreaming a whole lot more fun. We would no longer have to worry about forgetting them. As well as, if we have a really really good dream, we can watch it over and over again. Like a personal love story to have on DVD. The same applies if you have a nightmare, you have it on DVD, to show all of your friends. Even doctors could use the benefits of this. They can learn a lot more about the human brain. They could see why it is we dream what we dream. As well as us knowing what is really on our subconscious mind. I am very happy with the outcome of my project. I cant wait to see what the future holds for us.

In this tutorial, it tught me how to put drawn hair on a bald person. It looked very realisticley. I am amazed how simple it actually was to do it. I will definitely take in more use of this turorial. It was interesting. My favorite from the whole site.

From here i learned how to make a regular looking eye, look like a devils. Which can also mean, to change an eye. It was pretty hard at first, but then i got the hang of it. This will really help me in the future. I really liked that web page.

Artifact of the Future

I decided to choose this artifact from the future because I think it is amazing. I would definitely love to have one of those. It would be awesome to have a machine that controls what you are going to dream. I choose this one above the rest, because in my opinion, this is something that would be very fun for a lot of people. It could be something that can even help people. Some people who have very severe nightmare issues, or even people who have had a very strong event happen, not relive it by their dreams. This is from the future because it is obviously not possible yet. They mad a very good choice in using this artifact. This artifact definitely blew me away. I would be the first one to buy one of them, this has already gotten me excited for was is yet to come.

Social Media

Social media has been something that indeed has affected many changes thought life. For teaching it has also been very noticed. In good ways, as well as in bad ways. For good ways, now we have more technology, which helps teachers have more ways of teaching. For example, when we have a music class, it is better to be able to listen to the music and be able to compare the different types based on what we hear. That is obviously something that could have never happened a long time ago, when music was not available in that way. This also has a very down side to it, not all teachings have to be technological. Sometimes it is better that they are not. For example, in an English class, if we have to do an essay, it is a lot better if we do all the research and find what we need to know by books. Now a days, there are even pages where you can download an essay that another person has made. Also, it is very easy to find what you need to know for essays in five seconds.
Because of this, we as people have become very dependent on technology to do the things that we need to do ourselves. This changes the way teachers do their job. Now they have to be more on the look out of cheaters then they did before. This is very bad; I think that some schools should really cut out all the amount of technology they use. Obviously, in some places they don’t use that much technological help as in others because of the money they may have. I don’t doubt that if they could they would, which is very sad because we don’t need to be so dependant on technology to everything we need to get done by ourselves. Now teachers even have us use our computers to make projects, which makes us not use our creativity and study through books, now that makes teaching completely different.
All schools thought the world should come together and change the thought that computers and technology are used for everything. I think it is ok for school to have computer classes, but not use technology for every single thing. We should be shown how to use computers and technology for future reference, but we should not depend on it for every single thing we need it. Almost every single student that goes to a good school uses the computer more than one time a day rather than read a book. For example, in facebook, most people when they turn on the computer go directly to facebook instead of doing their homework. The social media has had a very big impact on the world of students and teachers.

The Tree I Chose

I chose this tree because I thought it was completely beautiful and big. It goes very well with how my family is, since my family is very big. The tree is also in very good quality which would make my family look so much better since it is a big and beautiful tree. It did take me a long time to pick out this tree since it was not at all easy to find, I did end up liking how the whole thing would look when I would be finished. I am very proud of the tree I chose, and would not change it for anything in the whole world. I definitely think that my tree is the best one, although Priscila has the same one, I think they are the best. I am amazingly proud of the tree I chose, since its beauty.
